About Landfall Productions

Landfall Productions is a small production company located just outside Portland, Oregon in the small town of Gresham.  We have produced several documentary films and two feature films.  Our recent documentary, “A Passion for Sustainability,” about the efforts of Oregon Natural Step members to make their businesses more sustainable, was broadcast on over 100 PBS member stations starting on Earth Day, 2008.  The program won a 2008 Bronze Telly Award and is currently available from Amazon.com and Insight Media in New York.

In 2010,  we were awarded the 2010 Silver Telly Award for “A Hollywood Scrapbook,” a documentary tracing the career of film pioneer Eric G. Stacey Sr.  The film, featuring many clips from The Golden Years of Hollywood, was also seen on PBS member stations across the country.

Currently, we are launching our second feature film, PURPLE MIND, the story of an Iraq combat veteran who returns home suffering the effects of PTSD.  Two trailers and a Press Book are available on the site.  Purple Mind also has a Fan Page on FACEBOOK.  If you would like to receive updates on festivals, screenings and other viewing options, please visit and sign on to our newsletter.
